What does structural engineering cost for a new home?
From $1 per square foot for the full stamped structural package. Complex sites, steep lots, and heavy steel raise it; a straightforward rectangular home on a flat lot sits at the low end.
Do you coordinate with truss suppliers?
Yes. Truss packages are designed by the supplier’s engineer, and the structural set has to carry those reactions properly — that coordination is part of the work.
